Mode of Examination

AJEE 2018 will be conducted in both online and offine modes, at select locations across the country. Following would be the examination process for both the modes of examination:

Offline Mode :

• The offline mode of examination would be conducted in selected locations across India. The venue details of the selected centers will be mentioned in our website and our leading newspaper advertisements.
• The candidate will have the option to choose an examination location and the mode of examination while filling up the registration form.
• Examination will be OMR based, multiple choice type questions will be asked in the examination. The candidate will have to choose one option from the given choices as his answer.
• The duration of the examination will be 2 hours and the question Paper will contain 100 questions.
• There will be no negative marking for choosing an incorrect option as an answer.
• The candidate can use black/ blue ball point pen for encircling the options in the OMR sheet.

Online Mode .
The online mode of examination would also be conducted in selected locations across the country. The venue details of the selected centers will be mentioned in our website and our leading newspaper advertisements.

• The candidate will have the option of choosing an examination center and the mode of examination while filling up the registration form; the candidate will receive a user ID and a password that will allow the candidate to access the mination online.
• Multiple choice questions ( MCQ) will be asked in the examination and the candidate will have to click on one of the options from the available options provided as an answer.

The duration of the examination will be 2 hours and the question paper will contain 100 questions.

• There will be no negative marking for choosing an incorrect option as an answer.
• A timer will appear on the computer screen that will allow the candidate to view the time left for him in the examination. The candidate will have the option to flag question that he/she wishes to a newer after attempting rest of the q questions
• The candidate will have the option to submit his responses after he has completed the examination. The examination will automatically close after 2 hours.

Examination Centers

List of cities where the examination will be conducted is available on our Website the same details are also available as options while filling up the registration form. AISECT reserves the discretion to allot a center other than that of the indicated choices, and the students would be informed in advance about any change of their examination centers. All major cities of almost all the states across the country have been included as examination centers.
