This University was established in 2006 as the first private university of Central India. Today, CVRU is one of the Premier science, technology and professional Education University having its campus in the tribal area of Kota- Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh. The University is ranked among the top 200 universities by NIRF 2017 by MHRD. The University is also graded as B + by NAAC. In a span of merely 11 years, the university has transformed the region's Access to higher education and have more than 10000 regular students in 25 departments and more than 30000 Students in distance education.
